Disciplinary records related to Student Organizations are kept on file in the Conflict Resolution and Student Conduct Services Office. While FERPA prohibits unauthorized disclosure of information considered personally identifiable to any individual student if that information would be considered part of that student’s education record, the University believes students seeking to gain membership within a Student Organization should have the opportunity to review the organization’s general disciplinary history.
Organizations can be held accountable to the Student Conduct Code in the following ways through both expectations for individual students and of student organizations, as listed in the Student Conduct Code: Prohibited Conduct for Individual Students & Student Organizations.
Sanctions can be imposed through individual hearing officers or the All-University Hearing Board. Please access options for sanctions by clicking on the above link and selecting Discipline process, then Sanctions.
