Conflict resolution services

Assistance provided to faculty and staff on matters with students

  • Issues could include interpersonal and/or intergroup conflicts, disruptive classroom behavior, concerning behavior, and hate/bias incidents.
  • Assistance utilizes the continuum of services available through CRSCS, including advice and referrals, coaching, mediation, emergency consultation, student conduct process and restorative justice.

Academic dishonesty advising and assistance

  • For relatively minor incidents, CRSCS can provide advice on implementation of university policy.
  • For serious or complicated academic dishonesty incidents, cases are referred directly to CRSCS.
  • Upon a student being found responsible for academic dishonesty, when appropriate CRSCS can facilitate the repairing of “harm” done to faculty and/or the class by conducting a restorative justice process.
